The Yoga Teacher Training Yoga Therapy major is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a yoga teacher or yoga therapist. The major includes coursework in anatomy and physiology, yoga history and philosophy, and yoga techniques. In addition, students will complete a practicum in which they will teach yoga to a group of students.
The Youth Ministry major is a course of study designed to prepare students for careers in youth ministry. The major includes studies in theology, ministry, counseling, and human development. The program is designed to train students in the skills necessary to work with youth in a variety of settings, including churches, schools, and community organizations. The major provides students with the knowledge and skills to work with youth from a variety of backgrounds and to understand the unique needs of each.
The Youth Services Administration major is designed to prepare students for careers in public and private agencies that provide services to youth and families. Students will learn about the major theories and practices related to youth development and will gain practical experience working with youth in a variety of settings. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to work effectively with youth from diverse backgrounds and will be able to participate in the design and implementation of programs and services that meet the needs of youth and families.
