The Zoological Medicine Residency Program major is designed to provide comprehensive training in zoological medicine for those wishing to pursue a career in this rapidly growing field. The program includes both didactic and clinical components, and offers exposure to a wide variety of species. Residents will gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of zoological medicine, including diagnostics, surgery, and medicine. The program is designed to be completed in four years, and residents will be eligible to take the ECZM examinations upon completion.
The Zoology Animal Biology major is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the biology of animals. The major emphasizes the study of animal form and function, animal ecology, animal evolution, and animal behavior. Students who complete the Zoology Animal Biology major will be prepared for careers in animal science, veterinary medicine, wildlife management, and zoological research.
